  • Banks Peninsula - Akaroa  and include an up close encounter with some sheep. We travel towards the East to Banks   Peninsula  which has unique Harbours, lakes and fantastic coastal scenery, nooks and Bays revealing some great landscapes. Historically it has the first settlements of N.Z., Akaroa and Lyttelton and amongst the best early Maori & Colonial Collections in one of the outer Bays. Its Harbours are the home of the rare hectors Dolphins and the White flippered Penguin. Our Tours are different to other Banks Peninsula & Akaroa tours as we return by a different route, and we stop for lots of photographs in the best locations                                                                             The Cost  of this tour for two (minimum) of you is NZD$370.00 for the day.   • The Great Alpine Highway. We travel West on the Great Alpine Highway across the Canterbury alluvial plains, high country and mountain Pass's with opportunity to photograph the many varied landscapes including Lake Pearson.Photograph the      Castle Hill Rocks - monolithic Limestone rock formations, braided rivers and the beech clad bush valleys. Visit the Alpine village of Arthur 's Pass National Park with its alpine plants, waterfalls. Hopefully photograph our unique mountain parrot the Kea up close. Also view the Otira Viaduct one of the most notable environmental engineering achievements in New Zealand .                                                                                                                                                   The Cost of this tour for two (minimum) of you is NZD$370.00 for the day NZD$190 each extra adult

 

  • Day Trip to Aoraki/Mt Cook Region Mount Cook Lily’s and mountain flowers Mid November to early December. We travel by road across the Canterbury plains and its rich arable farmland with its sheep and cows, onto the foothills of Geraldine, over Burkes pass, the MacKenzie Country and Lake Tekapo . On the shores of Lake Tekapo - the country’s highest large lake) - is the Church of the Good Shepherd which offers awe inspiring views of Lake Tekapo and mountains through the alter window.  We then travel along the shoreline of another lake towards Mt Cook hopefully weather permitting offering some dazzling panoramic Photo opportunities. At 3754 metres, New Zealand's highest mountain, Aoraki Mount Cook is part of the alpine backbone of 27 other mountains over 3050 metres making up the famous Southern Alps. Photograph the Mount Cook lily (Ranunculus lyallii) flowering ,which is one of New Zealand’s most well known alpine plants. Other Photographic opportunities include other Alpine Plants, Kea the Mountain Parrot ,glacial lakes, ice, icebergs moraine. 

    The Cost  of the Aoraki/Mt Cook Tour is for  two (minimum) of you  NZD$400.00 for the day NZD$190 each extra adult
